How large is Cortland Regional Medical Center?

Cortland Regional is more than just a hospital: it is a medical campus that serves an area where more than 75,000 people live and work. Our main campus includes a 166-bed acute care facility with an attached 80-bed residential care facility.  Off-site locations include the Outpatient Service Center (on Route 281), Home Health Services (on Homer Ave.) and two laboratory draw stations (on Route 281 and Euclid Ave.)

Cortland Regional was awarded a three-year accreditation and Gold Seal of Approval from the Joint Commission on Accredited Healthcare Organization. For accreditation and the prestigious Gold Seal, Cortland Regional had to demonstrate a high level of performance in patient rights, patient care and patient safety.

St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center
Cortland Regional Medical Center has a service affiliation agreement with St. Joe’s that provides a broad framework for cooperation between the two organizations in a number of specific areas.  The agreement focuses on benefits to both facilities in such areas as improving patient care, staff education and physician recruitment.  The new Dialysis Center located here in Cortland was a joint effort between our organizations, and a testament to our partnership.

American Cancer Society
In recognition of Cortland Regional's initiative to prohibit smoking anywhere on the medical campus, the American Cancer Society awarded Cortland Regional with an award: "Appreciation for Taking a Leadership Role in Building a Smoke-Free Community."

Parking is available throughout the Cortland Regional Medical Campus. All parking at CRMC is free.

What types of food or snacks are available?

Located within CRMC is a cafeteria, featuring freshly prepared hot and cold items. There is also a coffee shop, serving beverages and light meals and snacks such as soups and sandwiches. We recently upgraded our food service at Cortland Regional. Because of our food’s high-quality, we even offer catering services to the community.

Is there a gift shop onsite?

Located in the hospital is a gift shop featuring both fresh and artificial flowers, greeting cards and gifts.
